A peerless night on the pier
Dance music festival Pier Jam on Saturday promises an international line-up of DJs, playing from 2pm into the night across three stages at the far end of the landmark.
Event director James Cohen believes they have a unique concept in the UK, with four nights this year and expansion plans for 2016.

Hide Ad“Over four nights, we’re expecting 14,000 to 15,000 people this year, going up to 20,000 next year,” he said.
“We’re growing year on year to make it a destination event for Blackpool.
“It’s taking a festival concept but on a pier. There’s nowhere in the country where this is possible.
“There’s multiple acts, lots of DJs, and Amine Edge and Dance headlining.”

Hide AdThe French duo are joined by Annie Mac favourite Chris Lorenzo, rising stars on the German scene Adana Twins and Endor among others.
A second event will take place on Saturday, July 18, with MK, whose hits include Look Right Through and Night Crawlers Push The Feeling On, as well and production and remixes for Ellie Golulding and Lana Del Ray. Further dates and acts are to be confirmed.
