The Mill at Charnock Farm said it "will be closed for the foreseeable future" after Tier 3 restrictions made it too difficult for the pub to operate.
Other businesses at the Charnock Farm venue in Wigan Road remain open, including Lakeside Coffee House, the motel, Lavender Barn beauty salon and Tracey's Hair Studio.

The Mill's owner says the on-site pub, situated next to a lake at the back of the venue, will reopen at some point in the future.
Posting on its Facebook page, it said: "It is with a heavy heart we are having to write this post but would just like to inform you all that after a full day of discussions we have come to the decision The Mill will be closed for the foreseeable as we are struggling to cope with the current restrictions.
"Our owner, David, hasn't taken this decision lightly and would like to thank you all for your continued support over the last few months.
"This isn't a goodbye but a see you soon.
