The heated ‘spaceship’ table which massages from underneath is also equipped with LED lights and a relaxing waterfall at the top of the bed.

But what exactly does a head spa treatment entail?

Joanne said: “I have always done massage and beauty so when the opportunity came about to bring this type of treatment to Lancashire I jumped at the chance.

“During a head spa treatment, a hair therapist will use essential oils, scalp scrubs, and deep conditioning masks to exfoliate the scalp, remove excess oils and debris, and hydrate the hair follicles.

“You can also expect a vigorous scalp massage to alleviate tension, increase stimulation, and relax the scalp muscles.” “The head spa treatment has many benefits such as helping to improve hair health, but they also provide a deep sense of relaxation and stress relief which we all need more than ever these days.”

Trending on TikTok the head spa, which has only been open a month has already garnered five star Google reviews, with one calling it ‘the most divine experience’, while another added it helped them drift off into a deep sleep at bedtime.

The unisex head spa costs £80 for one hour and £110 for 90 minutes which includes a fire and ice facial.

Joanne added: “I’m looking forward to welcoming the people of Lancashire into my relaxing spaceship haven.”
