There were fears that the popular festival would not go ahead after the Travellers left Ashton Park – where they had camped since Sunday (June 26) – and travelled in convoy 1.5 miles down Blackpool Road to Moor Park.
The move came after Preston City Council gave the group their marching orders after serving them with an eviction notice earlier this week.

In its seventh year, the full lineup for this year’s two-day Rockprest Festival includes AC/DC Experience, Wink 182, The Killaz, Floyd In The Flesh and Green Days will feature over the weekend.
The event, which takes place on Saturday, July 2 and Sunday 3, will have two stages, thrill rides and beer tents.
There will be entertainment for the whole family over the weekend and everyone needs a ticket for entry.

"Last year it wasn’t as big as we wanted because of all the restrictions in place, but now all that has gone and we’re full speed ahead and really looking forward to it."
Jools expects 10,000 people a day to enjoy the festival, and says there has been huge demand for tickets since announcing the dates a day ago.
