A Taste of Leyland is a celebration of local and regional food, drink and live music, which will be held on Saturday, September 24 on Hough Lane from 11am to 5pm.
Providing a whole host of foodie stalls and activities, entertainment, and fun for the whole family, organisers say the daylong event will be bigger and better than ever this year.

Hide AdVisitors can expect from the day: food and drink tasting, local produce, food and drink stalls, children's entertainment, live music, face painting, fairground rides and more.
There will also be a demonstration kitchen featuring local food businesses showcasing their recipes and skills and artisan produce as well as the opportunity to buy the products to take away and enjoy at home.
Councillor Paul Foster, Leader of South Ribble Borough Council, said: “I'm looking forward to seeing the popular event - A Taste of Leyland - return to the town centre in September promoting our excellent local food and drink businesses.
"This fantastic event will showcase local produce and offer cooking demonstrations as well as the opportunity to sample some tasty products.

Where and when is the Taste of Leyland food and drinks festival?
The festival providing food, drink, and entertainment will be held Saturday 24 September all day in the South Ribble from 11am to 5pm.
Due to the success of the event last year, the location has been moved from Ecroyd Street car park to Hough Lane and Leyland Market, to allow for more space, extra exhibitor stalls and entertainment for visitors.

Hide AdThe closest short-stay parking site to the event is based at 19 Sumner St, Leyland PR25 2LD, only a three-minute walk away from the site.
Who will be there?
A Taste of Leyland organisers have now announced the food and drinks stall that will be selling their goods on the day. With a broad range of local traders from the ‘Cheese Cabin’ to the ‘Alco Baker’ and ‘Dipz Donouts’ to ‘Flying Pig Pizza’.
Out of the 29 stalls of delicious goods, there is going to be something for everyone to try on the day.
There will also be an indoor market of free children’s activities on the day. With face painting and fairground rides to be offered with additional fees.
