Nursery nurse Majorie Howgate has wiped more little noses and has lost count of the number of toddlers she has comforted in the two decades she has been been at Kensington Nursery School in Penwortham, near Preston.

The nursery has recently been taken over by Townley House Nursery, based in Lostock Hall.
