Lancashire Police say missing boy found safe after disappearing at Rivington Pike

A vulnerable boy who went missing at Rivington Pike at the weekend has been found “safe and well”, say police.
James, who is autistic and mainly non-verbal was last seen at Rivington Pike at 12.30pm on Sunday.

Hide AdLancashire Police launched a search for him and urged anyone who might have seen him to get in touch.
The force has confirmed that James was found safe.
A police spokesperson said: “Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal for the missing boy at Rivington Pike.
“Thankfully, he has now been found safe and well.
“Huge thank you to everyone for their help and support with this one. A huge team effort and a positive outcome.”
