A 22-year-old man arrested over an armed raid on a Penwortham pub has been released without charge.

Regulars at the Fleece Inn in Liverpool Road were enjoying a Bank Holiday drink on Sunday, March 1 when a man entered a staff area at the pub and threatened one worker with a handgun.

Preston Police said they were continuing to appeal for witnesses.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101.
