AT the October meeting, Lund W I members were given a very informative and interesting talk by Damian Carr from Carr's Jewellers.
During the illustrated talk, members were informed about hallmarks, carats and why gold jewellery can be in different colours.

After the talk, members were given the opportunity to look at some of the jewellery made by Damian Carr.

A competition, to provide an attractive jewellery box, was won by Anne Bridge with Pam Smith and Sandra Henckel second and third respectively.

The next meeting is at the Newton-with-Clifton Village Hall on 20th November at 7.30 when we will be making marzipan fruits with Pat Walsh.

New Members are always welcome. For further details contact the President, Sally Roberts, on (01772) 634048
